confusing silence hurtful distance
wanting to understand the secret
you don’t have yet to me your absence
disables my brain and i regret

a dancer

a leaf gently twirls

dancing as she falls

wind catching slowly

her first steps. she flies

and flees and tiptoes

until her wings break

and she lightly hits

harsh reality.

inked web

intertwined cobwebs

suspending my head

entrapping my heart

entangling my thoughts

gliding through fingers

in the white maze

entrenching me

away from

soft dreams.

forgetful of life’s focus

as your mischievous gaze burn

into dust the wishes, turn

the green monster between us

into sweets going round and

round against the sweetness of

the spring’s comptine melody.
